Machined from stainless steel in two parts then bonded with SDS noise absorbing polymers. As well as adding mass, which is what other pucks do, the Soundeck DPS incorporates the constrained layer which actually collects and removes vibrations in the record. This results in a cleaner more defined bass and clarity across the full frequency range. The dimensions are Height 3.5cm diameter 8cm (fits inside the record label) weight 780grams. There is an aluminium version which weighs in at 267grams which is more suited to suspension/sprung decks. The spring tension may have to be adjusted.
